My name is Andrew Guenther, and I am honored to introduce myself as a potential independent at-large candidate for Bloomington City Council.
I am currently an incoming student at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where I am planning to pursue a joint JD-MPA with the O'Neill School of Public & Environmental Affairs. Previously I graduated from the O'Neill School with my bachelor's in Public Policy and am pursuing my master's in Environmental Sustainability.
Previously I served our community as Chair of the Bloomington Environmental Commission, Vice Chair of the Monroe County Environmental Commission, and Vice Chair of the Bloomington Board of Housing Quality Appeals.
Our platform is designed around making sure that Bloomington is Growing Together, not apart. We want to ensure that Bloomington is not only growing, but growing in the right way, without leaving anybody behind. Unlike the current Administration & City Council, we will fight to make sure that all of Bloomington is included in our future.
From Public Safety to Sustainable Development and from Connectivity to Zoning, our platform is designed with you in mind. Read our proposals by clicking "Learn More" below and let's get started making Bloomington the best it can be, together.
